Cases involving minors for Juvenile Justice and Juvenile Dependency

Hearings are held in Department 18. The clerk's office relocated to 800 11th St in Modesto effective May 1, 2026.

Juvenile traffic matters are heard in Department 20 at 2260 Floyd Ave in Modesto.

The Modesto downtown courthouse has three floors accessible to the public.

Basement Level: Jury Services and Departments 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14.

First Floor 11th St entrance: Criminal Clerk’s Office, Juvenile Clerk’s Office, Departments 5, 6, 7, 8, and 15

First Floor "I" St entrance: Clerk's office for: Family Law, DCSS, and Family Court Services - Probate (Guardianships, LPS Conservatorships only, and Adoptions)

Second Floor: Self-Help Center, Departments 1, 2, 3, 4, and 25, Technology, Human Resources, and Fiscal Services

All floors are equipped with men's and women's restrooms, as well as drinking fountains.

Handicap access is available at both entrances.
